1) It's not officially posted yet, but we are going to be instituting a two-month wait time for brand-new canons due to a recent influx. I'm sorry for the inconvenience on this, but if you still want to pick up this character a month from now, you are more than welcome to!
Assuming you're still interested, lemme cover the other two:
1a) Yes, Atroma wouldn't want him to keel over so soon into the show! It's up to you how you want to deal with it. If you want his sickness gone entirely, you can say that Marsiva fixed him up. If you'd rather play with him still being sick but not dying, the Fleet tends to slow and/or stop the aging of its passengers, including things like disease and physical decay.
2) This depends on how much of a separate character the ghost is! If the ghost is something that will tag along with Nux and not interact with other passengers of its own accord, it's fine to bring it along. If the ghost would be like playing a whole second character in addition to Nux, however, it would probably have to stay behind, or be capped so that it's not as big a presence.
